Developed as a potential anti-obesity drug, it selectively targets fat metabolism without affecting blood sugar or promoting muscle growth.
It works by:
Stimulating lipolysis (fat breakdown) and inhibiting lipogenesis (new fat storage)
Acting through oxidative pathways independent of the hGH receptor
Preferentially targeting abdominal fat cells
Studies in obese mice, rats, and humans have shown significant reduction in body fat, particularly visceral fat, without increasing appetite or cortisol levels.
